The Cellar Pub & Grill in Elora is owned and operated by Janet Scott. She was born and raisied in Fergus, and studied Hotel And Restaurant Management at college. It has always been Janet's ambition to have her own business, and when The Cellar came up for sale, she jumped at the chance to buy it.
The Cellar's theme is true to its name, and decorated like a wine cellar of years gone by. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and, each day, Chef Mike and his staff create the delicious casual fine dining menu at reasonable prices. The Cellar is licensed, and in the summer, guests can relax and dine on the outdoor patio, and enjoy watching the ducks swimming on the Grand River. It has been called the prettiest patio in the area. By owning The Cellar Janet is fulfilling her life-long dream.
